I'd like to reuse a CDT C project from a separate Eclipse installation and Workspace. Obviously I don't want to set again all the project settings, specially those regarding C/ C++ Build options, enviroment variables, etc.
I'm linking from the two different workspaces the same cloned Git local repository. So I understand that all configuration issues regarding the project folder should work the same. .project, .cproject and .settings are the same.
Additionally, I'm using the same workspace .metadata copy for both copies inside workspace folder.
When I check both Eclipse workspaces, however, I see different configurations for C/ C++ Build enviroment and settings.
At this point I'm wondering where this information becomes stored and how could I handle this not so atypical situation.
Can anyone help me ?
