The SWT instructions indicate that the project should be downloaded and imported using zip files rather than simply including the jar files used by eclipse itself. This makes perfect sense as the SWT application will be standalone, not a plugin.

However, the instructions say to download the file using the links on the front page, but the front page no longer has links to the zip file. This page ( h t t p s : // has a screenshot of how it used to work. Now, the platform specific links are gone and the links go to a general page to download Eclipse itself. This appears to be an oversight.

Can someone kindly update the SWT website, the download links, or provide some guidance on how I can obtain the zip files for SWT targeting Windows 32bit, 64bit, Linux GTK, and MacOS Cocoa as I need all of them for a proof of concept.

Thank you.

Hi John.

The page you linked to refers to the home page, which has a section on "Releases" which says "For links to the stable SWT Binary and Source for all platforms,
select the entry for the latest official release and then scroll to bottom of page" and links to the download page. The latest release is 4.9 and selecting that link shows an SWT Binaries and Source section with zips for the different supported platforms.
