Cascading Parameters in Maximo reports [message #1795276]

Looking for a solution to this problem: We are trying to get cascading parameters to work in Maximo for BIRT reports.
Cascading Parameters work fine inside the BIRT report viewer but when we import the report into Maximo the report gives an import error indicating there is something wrong with the report and does not finish the import.
Is there any way to filter down the data from one parameter to another in Maximo for the BIRT report parameters dialog?
