Is it possible to create an excel spreadsheet as a model and populate it with data using ETL?
I was successful to create an excel sheet and populate it using EGL, but I need the ETL model handling of the generated sheet.

And as a convince, an xslx file rather than an xml.

Thank you.

Hi Bas,

If an empty spreadsheet with the appropriate column headers is already in place you can use the Excel driver to populate it through an ETL transformation.

Cheers,
Dimitris

Hi Dimitris,

I appreciate the prompt replay.
Based on this, can the style of the cells be manipulated like merge down while filling it? if so, is their exist an example for such?
Also, is their a reference for the Sheet types that I can transform to? Like Sheet!Cell?

Thank you.

Regards,
Bas

Hi Bas,

Please see [1] for a discussion on the abstractions provided by the Excel driver.

Cheers,
Dimitris
