In order to get around an oomph bug, someone recommended I download the nightly from https://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/oomph/products/latest/eclipse-inst-linux64.tar.gz
After downloading, I went to check the SHA512 hash using sha512sum on Linux, and something is strange. The download page says the hash should read
2727d20b8b703ef9c5593c770bce8a3efbd68dc15310de6223993f024235bf38bf2e716f8b3a142f768b84f99817204c52982d77857490546fbc12eb45021517 eclipse-inst-linux64.tar.gz
but when I download the file and use sha512sum eclipse-inst-linux64.tar.gz
I get:
ef197529f21bc0d8cdbdd9d1f357a288206317c5ccd7412175a0422bc1829f396c3e543471651d9429eba32df3e04548bba76ad47af67263f4e05c035f33559d eclipse-inst-linux64.tar.gz
Most likely I'm doing something wrong, but what? I've redownloaded five times.
FYI my Unix is:
Linux osboxes 4.15.0-33-generic #36-Ubuntu SMP Wed Aug 15 16:00:05 UTC 2018 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
and my sha512sum is:
sha512sum (GNU coreutils) 8.28
