Improve AbstractSWTBot.dragAndDrop capability [message #1793666] Mon, 13 August 2018 10:41 Go to next message

Hello,

I've created a new bugzilla 537899 [1] to improve AbstractSWTBot.dragAndDrop capability. I also proposed a gerrit [2] for what I expected.
Is there something more to do?
Do you have visibility to integrate this kind of change?

We, Sirius project, are currently using SwtBot 2.7 (http://download.eclipse.org/technology/swtbot/milestones/photon-m7/ to be precise).

Regards,

Laurent

Hi Laurent,
This sounds a good proposal. Could you do the minor things suggested in the review?

Hi,
Thanks for your review. I have fixed the minor things suggested.

Do you have visibility for the next release?

Best regards,

Laurent

Hi Laurent,

Sorry for the late reply.

We have been releasing SWTBot once a year along with the Eclipse major releases. However we could do more frequent releases if there is a need, especially now that Eclipse releases four times a year. This should be requested on the swtbot-dev mailing list.

But I can say that for example the Trace Compass project uses the snapshots repository to run its unit tests, so it benefits from the latest SWTBot improvements and fixes as soon as they are merged.
