I looked into the serius project and it looks like this is a strong continuous growing project. Now I have some questions concerning the ObeoNetwork/BPMN-Designer plugin:

- how is the ObeoNetwork/BPMN-Designer plugin related to Sirius? Is this a plugin running independent form the Sirius Platform?
- is the ObeoNetwork/BPMN-Designer based on the Eclipse BPMN2-Modeler or is it a complete different concept?
- Is it possible to extend the ObeoNetwork/BPMN-Designer in a way similar as it is possible to the Eclipse BPMN2-Modeler Project?

I ask this questions because we extended the Eclipse BPMN2 Modeler in our own open source project Imixs-BPMN ( and I want to figure out if it make sense to change form Eclipse BPMN2 to sirius?

Thanks for help

Dear Ralph,

The BPMN-Designer is based on Sirius. A Odesign was defined to define the differents representations.
The BPMN-Designer in not based on the eclipse BPMN-Modeler
To extend the BPMN-Designer you can used the diagram extension mechanism defined in Sirius.
