Hi,
I managed to work basic custom widget using example from https://www.eclipse.org/sirius/doc/developer/extensions-properties_provide_custom_widget_basic.html.

When I click a model element in diagram, an empty table is displayed in properties view. Now I would like to customize this basic widget with a button to open a custom dialog and set model element properties according to user selections.

I could not understand how I can set model element properties inside custom widget. In Controller code refresh() method is called with a value expression but I don't know what it does and how to customize it.

Could you please give some direction about how to set model element property (such as basic String property) from inside custom widget code?

Regards.
