Run As --> Ant Build... always creates new configuration [message #334361]

I'm using the 3.4.1 download of Eclipse (Ganymede).

When I launch an ant script from within a project using the context menu
option Run As --> Ant Build..., the Edit Configuration panel displays as
expected, but it ALWAYS starts with a NEW configuration. It is not using
an existing configuration already generated.

How can I change this behavior to use an exising configuration?

I had been using Rational Application Developer 7.0 (Eclipse based) and it
would reuse the already created launch configuration for each ant script
within the project. This makes it easy to make a quick change and proceed
with the launch via the context menu.

This problem does not exist in Eclipse 3.3.2 (Europa). I created bug
report 263791.

This is a duplicate of bug 215530 and is addressed in version 3.4.2.

This problem has been fixed in 3.4.2
