GitHub missing from Mylyn repository type and connector discovery [message #1790983]

Hi all,

I have been running local task tracking in Mylyn, but now I want to sync with my GitHub issues as tasks.

In Mylyn Task Repositories View, I go to Add task repository, but only Bugzilla appears as a task repository type.

I tried to add more connectors - Connector Discovery finds 10 connectors (like Foglyn, Gerrit), but there is no GitHub option. I checked the discovery URL it uses and GitHub doesn't seem to be there anyway: http://www.eclipse.org/mylyn/discovery/directory-3.24.xml

All the tutorials and examples on the web assume GitHub is listed as a repository type, but I can't work out how to get it to appear in the the type list?

I am running:
Eclipse Neon v4.6.3 on Windows 10
Mylyn v3.24
egit v4.11

That connector is provided by EGit. It looks like the update site for it is http://download.eclipse.org/egit/github/updates. I'd suggest posting in their forum (https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/f/48/) if this doesn't work for you.
