The Orion editor is able to color code XML mime type content. It doesn't appear to be able to validate the content. I say that based on looking at examples where javascript, or java code, when edited, updates the badges in the gutter automatically, presumably based purely on mime type. I don't get the same behavior from the plugin when editing XML content. I figure I either need to create a plugin for XML syntax, or give the editor a DTD or schema. It seems to already understand the syntax based on color coding, so I'm not sure what more I would need for simple well-formed XML type error checking. Not to mention how to validate against a DTD or a schema. Does anyone have experience with getting this behavior with application/xml mime type? Tell me where to look? Thanks.
