i have a list box with value is id and desplayed text is name
when i select a user, i want to use his id in my dataset
but i can't
how to do this ?

i can show the id in label but how birt replace ? by the id of user selected in listbox ?

Hello,

Are you using your parameter as a "?" in a dataset request ?

If yes, if you bind the "?" to the parameter you created, it should perfectly work ? can you try to attach a report that reproduce the problem using the default datasource included in BIRT ?
