I was wondering if it is possible to let the user rotate a figure? Like a free-form rotate in many other apps such as Visio. I have already check UMLDesigner and Cappella and what they do is to just rotate in four direction and is done programmatically based on some cases. That is, they do not provide rotation anchor for the user to rotate.

I know it may be more GMF related, but though you guys might have info as well.

BTW, I have created my own custom styled edit part for this.

Curently, there is nothing in Sirius to do this.
The feature exists to include directly in Sirius what it was done for UMLDesigner or Capella. But it is currently not planned for the next release.
