I tried to make composite function block from the example in 4diac. After i download it to forte pc, the deployment console shows one error telling it has "unsupported type". What step i have missed ?

When you create a new type of function block you have two possibilities to make it run on the runtime environment (forte): 1- You can export the type as forte C++ code and then recompile forte including the FB (https://www.eclipse.org/4diac/documentation/html/installation/install.html#ownFORTE)
2- You can compile forte with the lua feature and then deploy it to forte. The documentation of this process is still not ready

I would recommend to compile it, as the LUA feature still has some major bugs
