Is there a way to create an array or list of function blocks (of the same type) in an information model? An example might be a security system with an array of cameras. Or maybe a audio/video distribution system with an array of zones.

Hi Mark,
I am afraid that is not possible with information Models. The reason being that information models are intended to describe one specific device and not for describing a topology of devices that might dynamically grow and shrink at runtime.
One way to solve your use case, would be to use Eclipse Vorto in conjunction with Eclipse Ditto (www.eclipse.org/ditto). Eclipse Ditto providing services to manage things as digital twins, and even define topology of things through thing relations. That way your video system could be defined as a thing representation in Ditto which then references 1..* video camera things. Each video camera thing would then be described as a Vorto information model defining the schema / capabilities of the video camera, e.g motion detection-, or recording functionality as Vorto function blocks.
What that help you?
