Dear experts,

I am using Eclipse NEON and I am facing problem by the IDE in which it keeps updating maven dependencies.

I left it over the night to update but this morning it is still updating and while it is updating I can't continue doing my project. :( Even I shut down and start the IDE again, the updating still come on.

Furthermore, I have also ticked do not automatically update dependencies from remote and offline, it is not helping at all.

I am using embedded Maven .m2.

Can someone tell me how to stop it or resolve the problem.

It sounds like you're using Eclipse m2e and their community page https://www.eclipse.org/m2e/m2e-community.html appears to suggest using their "User Mailing List" to ask questions about m2e.
