I am trying to generate PDF report in java using RunAndRenderTask.

How can i set page number using this task alone in the index section ?

I referred above link and I read many queries in this form , according to which i have to use RunTask and RenderTask.

Is there any way that i can avoid RunTask and RenderTask ?

A simple example would be very helpful .
