creating composite state [message #1778929] Sun, 24 December 2017 15:11 Go to next message

Hi,

What is the easiest way to put a set of states and transitions into a composite state? Simply copying/pasting does not work (i am using papyrus-rt 1.0 on a macOs). States are pasted into the composite state, but not the transitions.

Would not it be useful if one could do this using a menu option/command?

Thanks.

This is indeed an interesting feature and I could not readily think of an easy way to do this. Maby someone else on this list can think of a way.

In the mean time, I would recommen you create a bug for such an improvement so tha tit can be properly tracked. You can do so by following this link: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/enter_bug.cgi?product=Papyrus-rt

Are you copying and pasting in the model editor or in the model explorer?
