Hi,
eclipse.org's account password requirements don't seem reasonable.
The site requires at minimum 12 characters, but don't seem to do any other checks.
While rejecting e. g. "7PSi!gtmr", which all sites I know would accept as a highest security level password, this site does accept e. g. "passwordpassword".
This is in fact insecure and it is disadvantaging people who can't easily type in long passwords.

Ed, how long ago is it you set your password? Guess the limit only applies to new passwords ...

I believe that I must change my various Eclipse passwords every 6 months. I think 12 characters is way too long. I would suggest opening a Bugzilla about this and positing the link on the forum for it so we can see what the webmaster says about it. I'd not be happy to have to provide a 12 character password!
