Hi,

One thing I did on my intro page was to import into my development
workspace the "org.eclipse.ui.intro.universal" plug-in using the
"Plug-ins and Fragments" wizard. Importing the binary of the plug-in
would also import the CSS and XML files that are necessary for the intro
page to work. I changed the CSS, XML, themes and plugin.xml to suit my
needs.
One thing to watch out is to update the imported plug-in when updating
to a more recent version of Eclipse (the plugin version might change).

Contributions like help links or cheat sheets (the ones you see in
"What's New", etc..) to the intro page can be performed by any plug-in.
These contributions are independent of the product, but the
intro/welcome pages themselves are always bound to the product.
