Hi,

We want to add a keyboard shortcut to an OperationAction contained in a PopupMenu.
Do we have to use the dedicated Eclipse extension point for that ? In that case, how can we access the contextual information (for example the selected node) and call the OperationAction from java code ?

Hi Marie-Pierre,

For us it's currently impossible to do that with the Sirius PopupMenu.
The keyboard shortcut are managed by eclipse and there is no solution to add these to the PopupMenu.
You can create a ticket on the bugzillia or do you think your need could be financed?

Hi
These week I've added keyboard shortcuts for all element creation commands in Capella, see topic
polarsys.org/forums/index.php/t/210/

Now I can use keyboard to create elements in the folowing views
- model explorer
- sirius table\trees representations
- sirius diagrams
