Removing JPG and BMP option from sceen capture for CentOS 6.7 [message #1773351]

The screen capture tool does not generate a well-formed image on CentOS for JPG and BMP. I would like to remove these options and only keep the format(s) that do work (e.g. PNG, SVG). I have not seen documentation about any extension point to override or another way to modify the format options, so I assume this is not exposed by design.

Any suggestions on how to proceed would be great. Thanks.
