Nonexistant Plug-in Still Attempts to Load [message #1772220]

I removed a plug-in some time ago. It does not show up in any plug-in view. However, the log under .metadata shows that parts of this plug-in still attempt to load and generate exceptions since it does not exist.

How can I stop Eclipse from trying to load these plug-in parts?
