Can one have SWT draw a button label *below* the icon?

I want to label my icons/buttons but having the labels to the right of each button consumes too much screen real estate.

I want the buttons to look like the toolbar buttons in most applications, where the label is drawn below the icon, like sketched here:

[ button ]
label

SWT provides light wrappers over the native OS widgets. If you want to achieve a different appearance, you'll need to create your own custom widget.
