How to configure "Web Service runtime" JBossWS instead of Apache Axis? [message #332452] Tue, 21 October 2008 20:05 Go to next message

By default the WebService runtime in Eclipse v3.3.2 is set to Apache Axis.

But I want to use JBoss 4.2.3 (which is already installed separately) resp. JBossWS inside.

When I go now to Preferences->Web Services->Server and Runtime
then I found in the upper drop down JBoss 4.2

But the lower Drop Down shows only

- Axis
and
- Axis2

As far as I know JBoss 4.2 comes with built-In JBossWS.
And I already connected to JBossAS in Preferences->Server->Installed Runtimes=JBoss v4.2

So why does JBossWS not appear in the
Preferences->Web Services->Server and Runtime drop-down?

Do I have to add somewhere an additional *.jar?

Do I have to install some JBoss plugins/features to be able to use JBoss(WS)?
If yes: Which plugins?

You seem to have a habit of cross-posting both eclipse.platform and
eclipse.newcomer. Please don't. One of these channels is sufficient.

Mark, please do not cross-post, there is no reason to do so. Your
question is more appropriate in the Webtools newsgroup anyway.

Thanks
