Since I upgraded from Neon to Oxygen, all php core classes are not resolved to types and generate syntax errors (cf screenshot). How to solve that?

Hi Dawid, I've got the same problem here. This happened in Neon.3 with PDT 4.(?), and updating Eclipse and PDT didn't fix it.

I haven't changed content assist settings for my projects. How can I confirm that it is on and correctly configured?
/bundle_defaults/org.eclipse.php.core/contentAssistAddImport=true
/bundle_defaults/org.eclipse.php.core/contentAssistAutoInsertCommonPrefix=true
/bundle_defaults/org.eclipse.php.core/contentAssistAutoactivation=true
/bundle_defaults/org.eclipse.php.core/contentAssistAutoactivationDelay=200
/bundle_defaults/org.eclipse.php.core/contentAssistAutoinsert=true
/bundle_defaults/org.eclipse.php.core/contentAssistFillMethodArguments=true
/bundle_defaults/org.eclipse.php.core/contentAssistGuessMethodArguments=true
/bundle_defaults/org.eclipse.php.core/contentAssistInsertCompletion=true
/bundle_defaults/org.eclipse.php.core/contentAssistInsertFullyQualifiedNameForNamespaceCheckBox=true
/bundle_defaults/org.eclipse.php.core/contentAssistShowStrictOptions=false
/bundle_defaults/org.eclipse.php.core/contentAssistShowVariablesFromOtherFiles=false
/bundle_defaults/org.eclipse.php.core/contentAssistShowVariablesFromReferencedFiles=true

Currently running:
Eclipse 4.7.0
Eclipse PDT 5.0.1201706221951

Under Eclipse Preferences \ PHP \ ...
Source Paths \ Libraries = empty
Source Paths \ Path Variables = empty
Validation \ PHP Version = 7.0 (uniform variable syntax, scalar type hint, ...)

Is there any more information I can provide?

Thanks

Hi, I think I figured it out. At some point my project's build path got emptied. I don't know when.

Anyhow, follow the instructions here:
https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/t/204772/

My project's .buildpath file after updating:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<buildpath>
	<buildpathentry kind="con" path="org.eclipse.php.core.LANGUAGE"/>
</buildpath>
