Error when opening application [message #1766944]

I grew up with computers from DOS and forward, but have never done or studied anything. I am attempting to learn Java myself through online videos etc. I will need eclipse to move forward and have downloaded the program and successfully unzipped it. When I open the program to use it, I get an error message. I have attached it for you to see what you can figure out. I appreciate any help.

64-bit Eclipse requires a 64-bit installation of Java, and it looks like yours is a 32-bit Java installation. Juno SR2 is also over 4 years old, with the current release, Oxygen, having released just today. I'd suggest you get a 64-bit Oxygen download while you're getting the latest 64-bit JDK (it includes the API documentation among other useful things).
