For an existing project I created a XML file and pasted
some XML code into it.
However all lines in this code start at the first column.
Is there a format/auto-indent/beautifier feature which indents
every XML level by say 3 (more) blanks?

Jeff,
I'm noticing quite a few posts from last week that are cross posted to
multiple groups but have a "followup-to" that results in replies going
only to that group. Your's is one of such posts. How did you post it
so that it ended up with a "followup-to"? It's a bit annoying because
it means that only the one group will get a reply and hence the other
group will look not to have replied at all...
