How does Network Connection "Native" work [message #1765091] Tue, 06 June 2017 09:39
Eclipse UserFriend
I am using Ubuntu 16.04 LTS and Eclipse Neon 3. Ubuntu is setup to use an automatic configuration URL. This sets the environment variables "http_proxy", "https_proxy" and "no_proxy". Now when I am starting Eclipse via a desktop icon, there are no proxy entries for "Active Provider: Native". When starting Eclipse from the command line, there are the same proxy entries as in the above mentioned environment variables. I am wondering, what is the reason for this?
