[ESP-IDF] No cross-gcc option [message #1764714] Thu, 01 June 2017 11:01 Go to next message

Hi guys,

I'm usually used to program with command line but for this project, I would like to use eclipse.

I'm following the tutorial on esp-idf - get started with eclipse (I can't give the link as it's my first message here)
But at the step : - On the same page, under "Toolchain for Indexer Settings" choose "Cross GCC". Then click Finish.

I have no cross-gcc option. I there a specific module to add to eclipse?

Thanks in advance.

I assume you are referring to this option in the new project wizard?

The from the Help menu choose Install New Software, select Neon (or the version of Eclipse you are using -- Neon is the most recently released Eclipse version) and then choose "C/C++ GCC Cross Compiler Support" and finish the wizard:
