where is subReport in Birt ? [message #1763520]

Hi,

I need create a report which contain subReport from 10 existing reports with different orientation.

after search around , I don't see subReport control in birt that similiar with subreport in crystal report /SSRS where I just need enter subreport filename.

after googling , my guess is that Birt don't have subReport . by using multiple Dataset and Tables try to create subReport effect . but this is wrong. if I do that any modification on subreport , I will have do now on 2 report rather than one.

what common sub report control which can drag into a row. with properties :
1. external report name
2. parameter to pass
3. option whether to use header/footer from subreport.

I don't understand , Birt have been around more that 10 years, is there a major reason why subReport had not implemented ?
