Hello all,
This seems like it should be an easy question but for some odd reason I
am unable to get it working:
We have a workstation here with the "Eclipse IDE for Java EE Developers
(163 MB)" package installed and are trying to install Aptana as a plugin
for it (this is using Eclipse 3.4 by the way). Unfortunately, Aptana
requires a package with the Eclipse SDK, but we have a number of plugins
and configuration settings already applied for the installed package. We
tried using P2 to install "Eclipse SDK" and "Eclipse Platform SDK" and
neither will install, throwing errors. How do we convert our existing
installation into the Eclipse Classic installation without download and
having to reconfigure everything - or better yet, what plugins do we
have to download to get Aptana to work properly? Thank you!
Sorry for the cross post, but I saw another thread in eclipse.newcomer
that said to post something similar to this into this newsgroup. Thanks!

If you're going to cross-post to multiple newsgroups, please copy both
at the same time so that you don't waste peoples' time having the same
question answered in two places. See my reply to this in eclipse.newcomer.
