My eclipse performed an automatic update today, asked me to restart and
then my java perspective just disappeared. I open the "Open perspective -
Other.." dialogue and both Java and Java browsing are gone.
What could have gone wrong there?

I would also like to know how to get the Java and Java EE perspectives
back ?
I am using Eclipse 3.4.1 and the Java/EE perspectives are gone, I noticed
today when starting Eclipse.
It probably has something to do with the fact that I yesterday installed
some Aptana plugins, but how can I bring back the Java perspectives ?
In Windows/Preferences there is usually a Java item, but that one is gone
too now...

Never mind, the Java perspectives actually came back automatically after
another restart.
