Has anyone managed to program a 32u4 based Arduino using the Eclipse plugin? I can program Arduinos using a serial programmer but have had no success programming 32u4 based boards via their USB interface. I have tried a Sparkfun Pro Micro, Arduino Micro and Adafruit Feather without any luck. I have no trouble programming these using the Arduino IDE. I am running Eclipse on an Ubuntu 16.04 based system. I have tried 2 previous versions of the plugin with the same result.

The console error I am getting is :

Connecting to programmer: .
Found programmer: Id = "Hello w"; type = o
    Software Version = H.e; Hardware Version = l.l
avrdude: error: buffered memory access not supported. Maybe it isn't
a butterfly/AVR109 but a AVR910 device?
