Use web.xml with the RAP launcher [message #1756398]

I'm trying to combine Apache Shiro with an RAP OSGI application. The problem I face is that if I start the application with as RAP Application I can't configure Shiro as it needs a configuration placed in the web.xml.

Shiro adds an ServletContextListener using the web.xml which reads the configuration path from the web.xml file.

Can I use the web.xml file with the RAP launcher(BaseApplication, Entrypoints,..)?

Can I add an web.xml programmatically?

I asked the same question here:

it seems that RAP Launcher doesn't allow it, while RWT Launcher can do it.
