Hi there,

I'm thinking about creating a functionality to document an OSGi application by inspecting the bundles of the application and use the information about dependencies and services.

Is there any API in Eclipse (maybe in PDE?) that already parses and collect all Manifests and all service declarations and builds some internal information model of that information? Is that model available and can be read?
What is the right API for that?

What, on the other hand, would be the right API to do the sime during OSGi runtime?

My goal would be to create some SVG diagram about bundles and dependencies and services, e.g. by employing the Eclipse Layout Kernel.

Any ideas?

Cheers,
Hauke
