Hi,

I have a test, that expects a native message box to come up with the same message multiple times at different points in time during the test sequence.

I retrieve the message using
get-last-message-box | get-property message

However, although the AUT fails to issue the message box at a certain time, the test will succeed as the MessageBoxInfoImpl is not resetted and still holds the message.

How can I reset the message?

I tried
get-last-message-box | get-object | invoke setMessage ""

but only get the error message
Usupported type class org.eclipse.rcptt.tesla.ecl.model.impl.MessageBoxInfoImpl

Any ideas how to solve that problem?

Hi,

the code I used was based upon

https://www.eclipse.org/rcptt/documentation/userguide/ecl/new-command-guide/

I changed the code to

get-last-message-box | invoke setMessage -args ""

and it works just fine. Is the example in the new-command-guide correct?

Perhaps some examples in the ECL documentation would help Wink
