Hello All,

I can't find Semantic Descriptor OM2M code and is it not implemented yet ? Also ontologyRef not used in Lamp Demo Sample IPE !

I can see Lamp Example uses Container Instance with content to represent device data. Is this is used as kind of semantics in OM2M right now?

Content:
 <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>
<obj>
    <str val="LAMP" name="type"/>
    <str val="Home" name="location"/>
    <str val="LAMP_0" name="lampId"/>
    <bool val="false" name="state"/>
</obj>

Thanks,
Ashok

Dear Ashok,
We have not yet released the code relating to the implementation of the semantic descriptor. The ontologyRef is a different resource, part of the previous release of the standard, and no specific procedure rely upon it, as opposed to the semantic descriptor allowing semantic discovery with SPARQL queries. The content describing the devices in the provided example is an ad-hoc semantics, unrelated to the standard, and specific to the application.

Sincerely yours,

Nicolas
