Hi all, thanks for the help.

I'm completely new to android programming, and i appreciate the help.

I am running linux mint, and i downloaded the android sdk and Eclipse debbuild with the linux software manager. it started up with no problem, but it cant find the android sdk. i went to window>preferences, and android is on the list. but when i click on it, the sdk location path is empty (nothing there at all).

How do i find the location the software manager installed the sdk?

You might try a Debian support forum that one.
