This bug requires you to have 2 monitors.
In the second monitor, open a eclipse application.
open the workbench window from monitor2, unfortunately it opens on monitor 1.
It should always open on the parent's monitor.

You'll need to give us more details as I get the same-monitor behaviour using an Oxygen milestone build on OS X. We don't specify any location details when creating a new Shell, so it's up to the windowing system on where to place the new windows.

We are using eclipse MARSE on windows7.
In our eclipse plugin application we have a button, if plugin application is open on second monitor screen so we are expecting on click on button Platform window should open on second monitor screen,
unfortunately it new platform window opens on main monitor.
