I edited the Oomph setup for JSDT, and I had it pushed to remote Git.

Now, when i install JSDT using the Oomph installer, the setup always ends with an error:
ERROR: org.eclipse.equinox.p2.director code=10054 Cannot complete the install because of a conflicting dependency.

But, the same JSDT.setup works when I download it from Git to my local machine, and I install dragging it under the <User> node.

How is this possible ?

Patrick, note that there is a delay between when you commit and when what you've committed is available in http://www.eclipse.org/setups/setups.zip because Oomph never (ever, in the released 1.5 version) directly accesses anything in http://git.eclipse.org/c/ because the web master would get very upset. The archiver job runs every 5 minutes, but I believe the webmaster has turned on the CGit cache and when that was enabled before, it could take as long as 10 minutes for the CGit cache to show the results of the commit. So maybe you were trying during what might be a 5 or 15 minute period right after the commit? Is it reproducible still?

Ed, Sorry for the delay in responding. Yes, I'm still able to reproduce the issue:

1. When I install choosing JSDT, in the tree proposed by the installer, the install fails.
2. When I download the zip available in http://www.eclipse.org/setups/setups.zip, unzip it and install JSDT.setup, dragging it under the <user> node, the install is successful.

That is strange. It is probably related to something cached.
I'm totally available to help in troubleshooting this.
