I'm running it on a P4/256mb/Redhat 7.3 machine with a moderate-sized
project and it's eating 100Mb+, so I wouldn't recommend using it with less
than 128mb memory...

Hi,
from my experience you should even drop the idea of Mandrake with less than
128 Megs RAM !!
I have tried it on a (well a little older) machine with 64 to use it for not
more
than a httpd server, but the outages just KILLED the connection as well
as my nerves...

The only thing worth with less than 64 Megs would be a pure
console machine (server, etc.) but that is NOT the basis you
would run Eclipse on ;)

And just to make things clear. Eclipse doesn't run nicely on 128MB ram, not
on 256MB. It runs nicely on 512MB.

Sorry.

But ram is dirt cheap. Go get some...
