Hello,

we are using EMF and Sirius to create an editor. Please see attached the EMF meta model.

When I use the editor to create a relation (and edge with Sirius) then:
According to the Sirius forum, if my relation is modeled as a eOpposite, I only have to set the edges source and target and the opposite relation (in my model outgoingArcs and incomingArcs) will be set automatically.
But this does not happen, when I create an edge. It is displayed like it should, but the incomingArcs and outgoingArcs of the connected elements are not set.

My question is, if I misunderstood the system of eOpposites, so that the problem lays in my EMF meta model?

Cheers,
Emil

In your diagram you appear to have four separate references. You're sure you've hooked things up as opposites? If they were hooked up properly, I'd expect a single line with arrows at both ends, not these two pairs of lines that you show in the image.

Hello Ed,

thanks for the fast help.
I checked it again, deleted the eOpposites, then set them again.
Now it works. Sorry, can't even say what was wrong.
Thank you!

Cheers, Emil
