Hello: Just installed Eclipse for mac from the web site. Loaded it fine, and brought it up. When I try to create a new C++ project, there is no C++ in the list. Many others, but not C++. Do I need to install something else into Eclipse in order to work in C++. If not, how do you create a new C++ project? Thanks....

You need CDT installed with Eclipse. It doesn't come with every download.
https://eclipse.org/cdt/downloads.php

CDT should be listed in Help->About Eclipse-->Installation Details on the Features tab and
You should see this (or similar) icon in Help->About Eclipse if it is installed
index.php/fa/27069/0/

If it is installed then there is another problem and you should give more details
- operating system
- Eclipse version
- CDT version

The versions are listed in the Installation Details Features tab or by clicking on the respective icons
