Binding new column to already existing data binding of a table [message #1738456]

I am very much new to BIRT and Reporting.

I added a new column in the output of dataset. THis new column is not available fro data binding at component level. I clicked on refresh and I get pop up message saying "The data set has one or more output paramters. Would you like to generate binding for them?" New output columns are not availabel evenafter clicking ok .
Please help
