Serializing the diagram objects and saving in the xml file [message #1735963]

Hi,
From the palette when the user drops the ecore objects into the diagram i want those objects to be serialized and save it in the XML file simultaneously as the ecore objects created in the diagram editor.
When i try it i an getting the exceptions as follows:
!MESSAGE Uncaught exception during pre-commit trigger processing
!STACK 0
java.lang.IllegalStateException: Cannot modify resource set without a write transaction
