Websphere 8.5.x And Birt 4.5 [message #1735049]

I'm trying to get the birt report viewer to run on websphere 8.5 but i have not had any success and keep getting an error.

I tried to deploy the 4.5 runtime and got an error saying that the OSGI could not start. Then i read something saying i should try to the OSGI deployment, so i removed everything i did and tried that instead. I now have this error "org.eclipse.birt.report.exception.ViewerException: Fatal error occurred when try to startup report engine."

I saw that there was a wiki entry on how to deploy birt to websphere, but that entry is old and the EMF files it says to remove dont seem to be the same anymore.

Is there a way to get birt 4.5 to run on websphere 8.5.x?
