Currently, eclipse automatically generates the code from xcore when you save your changes. I am building my project from ANT. And I need to add it into my ANT build task so that xtext can see the xcore generated codes.

What is the ANT command for generating code from xcore? Can I just simply add it to my Workflow? If yes, how can I do it?

Chris,

There isn't an Ant task for Xcore. I know the Xtext guys have done
quite a bit of stuff to support a Maven build, but nothing for Ant as
far as I know.

Hi Ed, Is there a sample project that uses maven to build xcore? I would be happy to look into how it was done. Thanks!

I have no experience with this or examples, but as I said, the Xtext folks seem to have more experience with Maven builds for things like Xtend and Xcore.

Chris,

You will find a sample project that uses maven to generate Xcore models here https://github.com/ghillairet/xcore-maven-example
