Hi,

I have implemented Search Dialog in my RCP application and using org.eclipse.search plugin. Search is working fine but I need to customize the Search Results so that I do not show the entire path of the file where search match is found.

For ex: if my package is com.foo.bar and match is found in a file named abc.java present in this pacakge, then my search result should display only the file name abc.java and not the entire path com.foo.bar.abc.java which it shows currently. I do not want the entire file path to be shown in results.

I am using NewSearchUI facade for search UI as shown below.

NewSearchUI.runQueryInBackground(TextSearchQueryProvider.getPreferred().createQuery(input));

Is there a way I can get access to Search Results and customize according to my choice before showing to the User ? Appreciate any help in achieving this.

Thanks.
Vivek
