Used these directions:
Copy the project folder to the destination system.
Create a workspace.
Select File > Import.
Select General > Existing project into workspace.
Select the project folder (under select root folder )
Say Finish.

When I try and select a Project folder, I use Browse for root directory: gives an error, says:
....\TestForm overlaps workspace location: ....\TestForm

How do I cleanly copy a project to another computer?

It sounds like you've preemptively put a copy of the project physically under your new workspace's directory. Don't do that; put it somewhere else first.

To me it sounds as if your workspace folder and the project folder are the same. Project folders may be nested under the
workspace folder (even though it' not required), but they probably may not be the same. Try this:

Create a workspace .../ws
Copy the project folder into the workspace, e.g., .../ws/TestForm
Select File > Import.
Select General > Existing project into workspace.
Select the project folder (under select root folder )
Say Finish.

Cheers
